♻️ Moving Out? Donate what you don’t need and help next year’s students.
As you pack up your room for the end of the year, you might notice a few things you no longer need. Instead of throwing them away, pass them on. Your donations help reduce waste, cut demand for new items, and stop perfectly usable things from ending up in landfill or being incinerated.
Last year, 331 items were rehomed at Sketch House alone during our pilot Donation Café. Help us rehome even more items this year!
Donation Cafés are open to all students, so even if your hall isn’t listed, you’re welcome to donate at any of the locations below 👇
📌 Check out the schedule:

🤝 What can I donate?
We are looking for anything that can be used again by next year's students. Think student essentials, but they don't need to be brand new.
Here are some examples to inspire you:
- kitchen essentials - pots, pans, utensils
- Laundry and storage items - clothes airers, hangers
- Cleaning products - open but usable
- Art supplies - even if they're half-used
🌟 Why you'll want to drop by
- We’ll be giving out freebies, including soft drinks and zero‑packaging refills such as washing‑up liquid and hand soap.
- It's a great opportunity to catch up with friends during the busy move-out period!
- By donating, you’re helping future students and reducing waste. It's a win for everyone!
🤔 Can't make it?
If you can't attend a Donation Café, consider donating your items to charity shops to reduce waste and extend the lifecycle of what you buy.
👉 Here are the charity shops near your hall.
🙌 Thank You
Your donations make a real difference to students and to the environment!
