There's a limited number of rooms available for 2026/27

We have a limited number of spaces available in our halls for the 2026/27 academic year. If you or someone you know still needs accommodation, there's still time to secure a place! 

How to book a room in halls for 2026/27 👋

You can book an available room directly through the UAL Accommodation Portal and receive confirmation straight away. Availability changes daily, so check the portal regularly to view available rooms across London and complete your booking.

Please note: You must have accepted an offer to study at UAL from September 2026, and it can take up to 72 hours after accepting your offer before you’re able to log in. If you have any accommodation questions, contact us at accommodation@arts.ac.uk and we’ll be happy to help.

The Costume Store, West London

The Costume Store is a modern hall in West London offering both standard rooms and studios which are all ensuite.

  • This hall has just been refurbished, with upgrades to the bedrooms, kitchen, common room and laundry facilities.
  • Located opposite North Acton tube station in West London on the Central line, The Costume Store offers quick access to the whole of London.
  • The local area includes supermarkets, independent coffee shops, a local pub and a range of food options. It’s within walking distance of North Acton Playing Fields, a green space for recreational sports, as well as Royale Leisure Park, home to a cinema, restaurants, a gym and bowling.

Town Hall Camberwell, South London

Town Hall Camberwell is new to UAL for 2026/27 and set within a restored historic former town hall. This unique residence offers a mix of studios and shared flats.

  • The hall is part of UAL’s accommodation hub in Camberwell and is located close to Gardens House and Portland House. Living at Town Hall Camberwell means you’ll be part of a wider student community in the area.
  • Denmark Hill station is a short walk from the hall, and several nearby bus stops provide easy access to central London in around 40 minutes.
  • Enjoy standout communal spaces including a rooftop terrace, large social areas and characterful interiors, all in a creative South London neighbourhood.

Hawthorne House, Stratford

Hawthorne House is brand new for 2026/27. Located in Stratford, it is ideal for students studying at London College of Fashion at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, just a 15-minute walk away. 

  • This hall offers contemporary ensuite rooms and studios, with shared facilities including a free gym, cinema room, karaoke and games rooms, a roof terrace, and dedicated study spaces.
  • Stratford station is a 5-minute walk away, with the Elizabeth line putting central London within 30 minutes.
  • Westfield Stratford City is right on the doorstep alongside a range of shops, restaurants and entertainment. Nearby cultural highlights include the V&A East Museum, Stratford East Theatre and Roof East.
