This summer, we are offering current UAL students in halls extensions at most of our UAL managed halls, including:

- Log in to the Accommodation Portal and submit your extension request.
- Select 2025-26
- Go to My Requests
- Choose Extension
- Once you've submitted your request, email accommodation@arts.ac.uk to let us know your preferred dates for staying with us over the summer.

👉 The Costume Store

- The Costume Store has just been refurbished, with upgrades to the bedrooms, kitchen, common room and laundry facilities.
- Located opposite North Acton tube station in West London on the Central line, The Costume Store offers quick access to the whole of London.
- With a large courtyard, it's the perfect spot for a fantastic summer in the sun. It’s also a short walk to North Acton Playing Fields, an expansive green space for recreational sports.
👉 Portland House

- Portland House is in the heart of vibrant Camberwell, one of London's most inspiring artistic communities — and one of its coolest neighbourhoods.
- There are independent cafés, galleries, and creative spaces in the area, alongside a thriving food scene and free art at the South London Gallery.
- Enjoy nearby green escapes like Ruskin Park, as well as the outdoor courtyard right on your doorstep.
👉 Glassyard Building

- The Glassyard Building is in the heart of South London, with bustling Brixton and Clapham just a 10-minute walk away.
- Stockwell tube station is just a short walk away, making getting around London easy.
- Enjoy local cafés, nightlife and green spaces, including Clapham Common and Brockwell Park.

Here's some useful information about the summer extensions:
You will need to check out the pricing for 2025/26 for all of our UAL halls on our website:
If you are already staying in a UAL managed halls, you will not need to pay the £500 deposit again, we will simply carry this over for you.
If you are not currently living in halls or are staying in Emily Bowes Court, Stratford One, Wick Park, YourTRIBE Southwark or Furzedown & Cedars, you will need to make an initial payment of £500 to secure your room. This is made up of £250 deposit and £250 advance rent.
You will need to pay for the full period of your stay upfront on the first day of your tenancy. Unfortunately we do not offer instalment options for the summer extensions.
You can pay your rent and deposit by debit or credit card. Payments through Flywire are also available for international students.
The minimum stay will be for 4 weeks, and you can choose the date you would like your extension to end. All rooms are available now until Saturday 22 August 2026.
Yes, you can stay after your initial extension period finishes. You will be able to extend your stay up until the Saturday 22 August 2026.
The last date for summer extensions is Saturday 22 August 2026.
If you are currently living in halls:

- Go to My Requests
- Choose Extension
Once you've submitted your application, email accommodation@arts.ac.uk to let us know your preferred dates for staying with us over the summer.
If you are NOT currently living in halls:
You can register and make an application through the UAL accommodation portal. Alternatively, you can email accommodation@arts.ac.uk with your preferred hall and desired dates and we will let you know if we can accommodate your request. If you choose to make an application through the portal, please still email us with the dates you'd like to stay over the summer.
