We’re here to support you throughout your time in halls

Life at University can feel overwhelming, 🙇🏻 living in a new place, finding new friends and managing coursework deadlines can be stressful for anyone! At Halls Life we understand the unique challenges students face and that’s why we’re Here 4 U. 💜

Here 4 U Run Club

New for September 2026, we're starting the Here 4 U Run Club! Everyone is welcome, regardless of fitness level and we'll have staff and students walking the routes as well! 🙌

What is Here 4 U?

Here 4 U is dedicated to support and assist you throughout your stay in our halls. We want to help you relax, recharge and rest assured that you feel supported throughout your studies and stay with us.

Here4U is run by our friendly Halls Life Student Wellbeing Coordinator, Marco!

Here 4 U Corner

We're easing the cost of living in halls through simple, supportive initatives, including:

Located in halls' common rooms, our stand is stocked with freebies throughout the year! You’ll find a rotating mix of:
  • Sexual health materials
  • Snacks & drinks
  • Mindfulness activities
  • Magazines and books
    …and much more!

Located in halls' common rooms, these dispensers provide free dry staples such as rice, grains, pasta, and cereals. We’ll rotate the options throughout the year to keep things fresh and varied.

Our vegetarian community fridge, found in the common room, is there to share food with others. Got unopened, in-date veggie items you won’t use? Leave them for someone else to enjoy—or take what you need!

Available in the common toilets, because we believe period products should be accessible and free. Help yourself to sustainable products whenever you need them.

To ease the cost of washing, we’ve provided free laundry powder in some laundry rooms at halls. Use what you need!

We’d love to hear from you. If you’d like to give feedback or book a Coffee & Chat with the Student Wellbeing Coordinator, head to our Linktree or email us at hallslife@arts.ac.uk.
