Two strangers bonding over food at East Bank canteen

For this episode of Table for Who?, we're heading to London College of Fashion East Bank where two strangers, Alwena and Paula, are sitting down and getting to know each other over some delicious food and drinks. 

What is Table for Who? 

A unique social experiment in UAL canteens and cafés, where two students who have never met sit at a table and order a drink, main and sweet treat for each other. But there's a catch – they can't see each other! Which means they have to get to know one another better through conversation to be able to guess what they'd like to drink and eat from the menu.

Experiences like these just go to show that no matter where you study or where you're from, food has a way of connecting us. So when you're grabbing a matcha latte in the cafés or stood in the canteen queue, don't be afraid to spark up a conversation with the person behind or in front of you. 

Connection can start easily when there's food, a table and two people ready to sit down and chat.
