New Year is the perfect time to try something new, explore and learn - and there's so much you can do with food!
Whether you're an adventurous eater (or want to be), an amateur cook wanting to develop their skills, or simply want to add some new recipes to your belt, here's the opportunity to do things you never got the chance to last year.
Make Monday's meatless
It's surprising how easy it is to incorporate more plant-based meals into your diet. Good for you and the environment, dedicating at least one day of the week to meatless eating is a great New Years resolution.
Why not start with Meatless Mondays? Or if you're feeling up to the challenge, try a full Veganuary. See just how simple and tasty it can be with our vegan recipes that you won't believe are meat free and check out the vegan/veggie options in our cafés and canteens.
Master a new cooking skill
Whether it takes one day or you have to perfect it over the year, learning or mastering a new skill is sure to give you the satisfaction you need.
If you're a beginner, even learning how to cook the perfect pasta and rice is a great achievement. Looking for something a little more testing? Here are some of our favourite cookbooks to help you master your skills.
Grow your own
Speaking of learning a new skill, hit two targets with one arrow by testing out your green thumb to grow your own herbs.
It's easier than you think and can even be done on your windowsill, making it a rewarding, budget-friendly way to enhance your meals and develop a new hobby.
Try new recipes
Sick of cooking the same things just because you know them off by heart? Make a resolution to cook a new dish every week and expand your palate by experimenting with dishes from other cultures.
