We're inviting you to a hands on cooking class at Sketch House, where you'll learn how to make fresh soda bread and hearty soup from scratch – led by the people behind your lunchtime meals, one of our very own on-campus chefs!
This interactive session is more than just a cooking class. It's an opportunity to get top tips from an expert, learn about where your food comes from and how to cook sustainably.
Speaking of sustainability, we're bringing our best ingredients to the table from some of our favourite suppliers...
Wildfarmed flour for our bread 🍞
The soda bread you'll be baking starts with high-quality, sustainable flour from Wildfarmed - the same flour used in our freshly baked bloomers on campus.
Their mission? Save our soil and biodiversity through the power of regenerative flour. So the bread that you'll be baking is good for the planet and even tastier!
Find out how they're saving the planet one tasty loaf at a time.
Waste Knot veggies for our soup 🍲
The soup you'll be making is a celebration of fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced by Waste Knot, an organisation dedicated to fighting food waste.
They work with farmers to rescue surplus veggies that would otherwise go uneaten, delivering them to kitchens like ours. They may not look perfect, but they definitely taste it.
Learn more about the incredible work they do.
Book on today to learn and develop your cooking skills, meet new people and support sustainable food choices – no prior cooking experience needed!
You can even take a goodie bag of fresh veggies with you to make your own delicious soup to enjoy with your freshly baked bread at home.
