Here's our rundown of some really cool spots to visit if you move into this halls in Peckham.
Living in such a beautiful new accommodation, it can be easy to want to stay home a lot of the time, but it is important to take advantage of all the amazing entertainment options on your doorstep!
If you’re an incoming Archwood resident or want to move there, these 5 places are an amazing introduction to your new area!
1. Savor the sweetest treats at Nola 😋
If you’re in the mood for a mouthwatering pastry or a perfectly crafted oat milk latte you need to take a trip to Nola, one of Peckham’s trendiest new coffee shops, just a block from Peckham Rye.
This happening spot is a local favourite, so if you want to snag a table in their Instagram-worthy interior, make sure you get there in the early morning to avoid a line! 😉

2. Take in the best views of London from the rooftop at Skylight 🏙
Next door to Archwood House, Skylight is a trendy cocktail bar offering an extensive drink and bar snack menu for late nights and an impressive brunch menu on weekends.
Skylight also hosts several exciting monthly events including drag brunch and live music. Peckham is known for having the best rooftop views of London, so take advantage of Skylight’s crystal-clear views of the Shard and the London Eye. 🤩
3. Check out the MOCA London to get your fix of contemporary art 🎨
If you have an interest in learning the next new names in contemporary art, you have to take a trip to the Museum of Contemporary Art London, just a 5-minute walk from Peckham Rye Station!
Since 1994 the museum has been giving contemporary international artists a platform to show their works ranging from painting and sculpture to video and installation in a non-commercial environment. So, if you’re in need of any inspiration the MOCA is an excellent place to start!
4. Take a walk through Nunhead Cemetery for an escape to nature and history 🚶🏻♀️
One of the best parts of London is its vibrant fast-paced culture, but sometimes it can be nice to have a brief escape from the busyness and slow down.
Nunhead Cemetery is the perfect place to get a breath of fresh air in a beautifully quiet natural space, and acknowledge London’s history. The cemetery is made up of trails that guide you through an enchanting woodland, and if you keep uphill, you will reach the highest point of the cemetery and be able to see St. Paul’s Cathedral in the distance.
5. Filishack: Get to know Peckham resident’s favourite new place for a quick bite on the go 🍜
Beside Peckham Library, you will find the newest popular spot for budget friendly Filipino street food.
A simply curated menu including burritos, rice and salad boxes allows you to pick your desired toppings and customize your perfect meal. Filishack is vegetarian friendly and is always generous with the sauces, making it streetfood to die for!
