If you are new to London and yet to apply for an Oyster card, Transport for London (TFL) has issued an important message for students who are planning to apply for one.
Due to a cyber security incident, TFL is currently unable to process new applications for the following Oyster photocards:
- 16+ Zip Oyster photocard
- 18+ Student Oyster photocard
- 18-25 Care Leaver Oyster photocard
If you incur any additional travel costs during this time, please keep receipts, bank statements or paper tickets to claim any refunds through TFL.
