Short term stays at UAL Halls

We are now offering short-term stays in selected UAL halls throughout the year. It’s a flexible option that lets you stay somewhere comfortable, close to UAL colleges and be part of the Halls Life community.
The minimum length of your stay must be 4 weeks, standard rates apply (see our website for current prices), and you’ll need to pay your deposit and rent in full before your tenancy starts.

Here's some useful information about short term stays:
- Log in to the student accommodation portal.
- You won't book a room directly, instead you'll need to provide your top 5 hall choices and let us know you're required arrival and departure dates.
- After you have submitted your application, you will need to email allocations@arts.ac.uk with your desired dates.
- The team will email you a room offer matching your preference and dates as closely as possible. Please be aware we may not be able to offer you one of your preferences but will offer the closest alternative based on the availability for your required dates.
You must pay both the deposit and the rent in full before your tenancy starts.
You can pay your rent and deposit by debit or credit card. Payments through Flywire is also available for international students.
You must stay for at least 4 weeks.
You can extend by as little as one night. Please give us at least three working days’ notice. Extensions depend on availability.
We don’t provide bedding or kitchen utensils for short-term stays. Pack your own duvet, pillows, sheets, pots, pans and cutlery.
- You must be an enrolled UAL student or have accepted an offer to study at UAL.
- This offer is not available to students who already have a tenancy with us for 2026/27.
