Spots that everyone should visit in Stratford

Hawthorne House puts you in the heart of Stratford, with Westfield Stratford City right on your doorstep and a range of shops, restaurants and entertainment nearby. For culture, you're also well placed for the V&A East Museum, Stratford East Theatre and Roof East.

1. Have a shopping day at Westfield Stratford City 🛍

Westfield Stratford City is just a 15-minute walk away, offering a huge range of shops, a cinema, food court and restaurants. It's the perfect spot for picking up room decor or spending the day out with friends.

2. Have a day out at V&A East Museum 🖼️

Visit the V&A East Museum less than a 20-minute walk away from Hawthorne House in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. It's free to enter, spans five floors and features over 500 objects from the V&A's collection. Find out what exhibitions are on at moment.

3. Enjoy local sports 🏊‍♀️

Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is a large public park built on the site of the 2012 London Olympics in Stratford. After the Games, it was redeveloped and now houses lots of venues. Visit the London Aquatics Centre for swimming, Lee Valley VeloPark for cycling, and the Copper Box Arena for indoor sports.

4. Spend the evening at Roof East ✨🌅🧡

In the Spring and Summer, visit Roof East for drinks, street food and activities including archery, ping pong and crazy golf. There's even a Rooftop Cinema Club, where you can enjoy a film against London's skyline.

5. Challenge friends to bowling 🎳

Visit All Star Lanes inside Westfield for fun retro vibes. As well as bowling lanes, they also have classic arcade games, interactive darts, shuffleboard, private karaoke booths and screens to watch live sport.
