Halls & UAL events celebrating Black History Month

Posted 1 day ago

Immerse yourself in a celebration of Black history & culture

Black History Month (BHM) takes place in October across the UK and is an opportunity to recognise, celebrate and share the outstanding contributions of the Black community in our UAL halls. It's also a time for reflection and to raise awareness of Black history and heritage.

The theme for this year’s BHM is ‘Honouring Our Communities’. BHM.org invites us to "recognise the individuals whose everyday contributions shape, support and sustain Black life across the UK" and make those contributions visible.

"From early Black presence in Britain to the Windrush generation and beyond, community has been central to resilience, progress and identity."

Come join us at one of the following Halls Life and UAL events to celebrate Black History Month 2026.
