Thanks to Extract Coffee Roasters, our delicious house espresso, Rocket, is fully sourced from Minas Gerais in Brazil. 

Served in all of our cafés, you can try Extract Coffee Roasters' exclusive Brazilian blend that's packed with flavour, including Belgian chocolate, intense black cherry and treacle. But what is the story behind your cup?

In October 2023, the Extract team headed to Brazil to learn more about the process around the selection of their exclusive Brazil blend that makes up part of our much-loved Rocket and their Original house espresso's. 

Since then, they have refined the spec, working with their incredible partners at Volcafe to create a bespoke blend that delivers flavour, reliability and consistency. 

The result; a fully sourced natural processed coffee from Brazil with a spec that gives them even greater control and stability without losing what makes Rocket, Rocket. 

What is the natural process? 

Ripe, red cherries are picked by hand, sorted and then left to dry in the sun with the fruit intact. As the coffee dries, the fruit of the cherry ferments, imparting an intense sweetness and sometimes boozy flavours into the coffee bean. 

This means you can expect big flavours from the rich chocolate notes to the dried fruit sweetness, and a smooth finish that performs beautifully as an espresso and alongside milk, shot after shot. This is Rocket, dialled in.
