International Transgender Day of Visibility

It's International Transgender Day of Visibility 2025 and we have a new episode of Queer Peers to mark this significant day! 🏳️‍⚧️

In this episode, Carley Owen (She/Her), Student Experience Manager within the Halls Life Team, sits down with Jude Guaitamacchi (They/Them), a trans non-binary keynote speaker, educator, and award-winning campaigner within trans solidarity spaces.

Jude shares their personal experience of transitioning and discusses how they became an activist to support the trans and queer communities.

📌 More about Transgender Day of Visibility 📌

This annual observance celebrates the accomplishments and contributions of transgender and gender non-conforming people, while also recognizing the diversity of transgender identities and supporting the transgender community.

The day was founded by transgender activist Rachel Crandall in response to the lack of visibility for transgender people and the violence and discrimination they face.
