1. Relax in Ruskin Park 🌳

Ruskin Park is a great local green space, less than a 20-minute walk away from Town Hall Camberwell. It has panoramic views, tennis courts, a bandstand, and community gardens. There are also scenic walking trails to check out along with ponds, wetlands, and wildlife to discover.

2. Spend a day at The South London Gallery 🖼️

The South London Gallery on Peckham Road is free to enter and just a 3-minute walk from halls! It's one of the most respected contemporary art spaces in the capital with a fascinating history. Split across a Victorian gallery and a converted fire station, it hosts exhibitions, events, and film screenings throughout the year. 

3. Grab a slice at Theo's Pizzeria 🍕

Just an 8-minute walk from halls, Theo's Pizzeria on Grove Lane is a great place to grab a lunch deal or dinner with friends. It's often named one of the best pizza spots in south London!

4. Spend Saturday at Camberwell Green Market 🌻

The market runs every Saturday from 10am to 3pm on Camberwell Green and is a great reason to get out of halls on a weekend morning. There's fresh produce to try like cakes, cheese and honey. There's also jewellery, mosaics, and handmade crafts to browse. 

5. Enjoy Sunday Lunch at The Camberwell Arms 🍽️

If you're looking for somewhere special, The Camberwell Arms on Camberwell Church Street is one of the neighbourhood's most celebrated gastropubs. It's best known for its sunday sharing roasts and is a great spot for a meal out.
