Where to park when you arrive at halls

Check out the parking requirements for your hall

Archwood House 🏡

  • If you are arriving by car, you must not park on Peckham Hill Street directly outside the front entrance due to the bus stop, zebra crossing and double yellow lines.
  • There is no parking on site at Archwood House.
  • There will be limited drop off spots on Bonar Road. Look out for UAL staff at the south end of the road, here you will be able to unload your vehicle and sign out a trolley. Once your items have been unloaded, we ask that you move your vehicle immediately to allow space for the next car to unload. We strongly recommend accessing Bonar Road from Commercial Way to help the traffic flow in one direction.
  • There will be porters who will be able to assist with moving trolleys.
  • There is a free to use carpark in Peckham Town centre, as well as free on street parking on Commercial Way. Many of the roads in the local area are free to park on Saturday and Sunday such as Sumner Road, Lisford St. and Furley Road.

Emily Bowes Court 🏘️

  • Situated in the grounds of Hale Village, parking near Emily Bowes Court is limited.
  • During the check in we will have drop off stations. Your car can then be parked via pay and display in the spaces situated by the entrance of Hale Village.
  • Alternatively, you can park at the Tottenham hale retail park free of charge for 3 hours.
  • The hall is very close to Tottenham Hale train and tube station if this method of travel is more suitable.

Gardens House 🏘️

  • Students arriving at Gardens House should look out for the Sainsbury’s Local supermarket, the entrance is to the left of the Sainsbury's.
  • Please drive carefully, at a speed of no more than 5mph to ensure the safety of others who may be arriving on foot. You will be able to park outside the building for enough time for students to off-load their belongings.
  • If you wish to stay you will need to find street parking nearby.

Glassyard Building 🏡

  • Car parking is available nearby on the following road: Kay road, Dalyell road, Argyll close Nealden street, Combermere road and Stockwell green
  • Please also note Oak Square is the drop off zone for unpacking (main arrivals day of 9th September only), parking will be allowed for 15 minutes for unloading and cars will then need to relocate. This will be carefully monitored by hall staff.

Highline Building 🏘️

  • Please note there is strictly no parking on site all year round. You will be able to 'drop off' outside the entrance for ten minutes at a time. See map for full details here for parking nearby .
  • Please check the signage at the car park for full details before leaving your car.

Portland House 🏡

  • Students staying in the South Site will have car access via the front gate, where they will be greeted by a member of staff who will confirm their name and direct them to the front of the building. Here they will have the chance to unload their belongings from their vehicle.

  • Students staying in the main Portland building will also have car access and will also have their names taken at the gate to confirm that they are in the correct place before being granted access to unload their belongings. Once students have unloaded their cars they will be asked to find appropriate parking elsewhere to make room for the other students arriving by car.

Sketch House 🏘️

The Costume Store 🏘️

  • Depending on your move-in date, there are several drop off, parking and stay options:
  •  A drop off zone will be open in the car park for students to unpack their car and drop off their belongings. The Costume Store will have staff overseeing the drop-off zone and students will have a 15-minute drop off slot. After you have unpacked your car, your car will have to be moved to allow other students to use the space. You will need to find alternative permanent parking.
  • Use Parkopedia to find car parks, street parking and metred parking nearby.

Wick Park 🏡

  • You can find parking near Wick Park including Wick Lane, Hackney and the Wick Health Centre. There are also car parks nearby at St Marks Gate and Copper Box Arena.

YourTRIBE Southwark 🏘️

On your move-in date, the team at YourTRIBE Southwark have the following suggestions for parking:

  • To drop off bags only - if you are coming along Old Kent Road, turn left down Ruby Street, which will bring you to the front of YourTribe Peckham and you can drop off your items.
  • For longer-term parking - the closet long-term parking is the Asda carpark in Peckham, which is about a 5 minute drive from YourTRIBE Peckham and a 10 minute walk back to the property.

It is highly recommended that you initially drop off your bags and then park in the Asda carpark in Peckham if you wish to stay longer.

If you have any questions, contact the YourTRIBE Southwark team via +44 (0)203 917 2540 or hello@yourtribe.com (24/7 reception).
