How to book a room in UAL halls for this coming September
Accommodation bookings for our UAL halls of residence for 2025/26 are now open for all students via the UAL website.
To help you book your room smoothly, we recommend the following:
access the accommodation portal using only one device
allow yourself additional time when booking your room
be patient with the loading time for some areas of the portal.

FAQs
If you received an error message, please refresh the webpage to allow the information to re-load. This is likely to be due to a high volume of traffic on the portal. If you continue to receive the error, please try again in 5 minutes or contact our accommodation team.
For the majority of students booking rooms, you will only be able to book one room within the student accommodation portal.
If you have disclosed a disability within the portal, you will be offered the option to apply for 5 halls and the accommodation team will be in touch to confirm your room.
If you were given the option to book any room, at any hall, you will need to cancel your booking and start again.

Rooms are available in real time and are subject availability. There is a possibility that this could change but there is no guarantee – you are more than welcome to check back later or review and consider other rooms which are available.
No, we recommend that you do not use multiple devices or multiple tabs as this will slow the server down with increased usage.
Our partner halls include:
- Emily Bowes Court
- Furzedown Student Village and Cedars Hall
- Stratford One
- Wick Park
- YourTribe Peckham
If you select to a room at one of the above partner halls, you will still be asked to reserve a room.
However, our Accommodation team will refer you to the partner hall and they will contact you directly to book your room.
We will guarantee a room for first year international students if they book by Friday 16 May. Rooms are subject to availability.
When booking a room for Archwood House, Gardens House, Highline, The Costume Store, Glassyard Building, Sketch House or Portland House, you have to make a deposit payment of £500.
Once you have made a payment, you have to go back into your accommodation portal and accept the room booking.
We listened to our students, and they told us they wanted more control when it came to booking a room in UAL halls. This is why most of our students will log into their portal and see which rooms are available and will book it book it straight away.
Whilst on the other hand, some students, for example Study Abroad, Exchange students or students with medical condition, may select a preference route so that we can check whether a hall and room type is appropriate for them.
Due to the increase in applications, we will be sending updates about bookings to students who selected the preference route from 13 May 2025.
Rents are set and we cannot change the rent price.
The assessment for a partially funded rooms 2025/26 is closed and rooms have already been allocated.
