Arts SU Officer shares best tips for incoming queer students

We are thrilled to announce this month's guest on Queer Peers is Katwamba (he/him) who is currently the London College of Fashion Officer at the Arts Students' Union. 😍

In this episode, Katwamba shares with us a bit about his UAL journey, from starting as a student, to then becoming a Course Rep, and now the LCF Officer, representing the Arts SU.

As well as his personal journey, Katwamba will share all activities and events that are focused to the UAL LGBTQIA+ community, giving you some useful tips for new incoming queer students.

This podcast will promote freedom of speech but there will be no room for hate. We respect everyone’s journey is individual to them. This is about listening, understanding, and widening knowledge of the LGBTQ+ community and sensitive themes and topics centred around this in a safe setting. We want to create a space where everyone can live their authentic self at UAL without fear of judgement.
