Mingle with fellow post-graduate students at this low-key halloween mixer over a Zine workshop, spooky stitching & sensory spacemaking.

This event is open to all Post-Graduate Students at UAL. However, capacity is limited for this event. If you can no longer attend, please cancel your order to release a ticket to someone on the waitlist.

Join us this Autumn to celebrate Halloween in a low-key, relaxing environment hosted by Halls Life x UAL's Post-Grad Community to celebrate this spooky time of year.

You can have a go at the embroidery workshop, attend a well-being sensory session or get stuck into zine making.

What to expect:

The Spiritual Stitching Post-Grad Interest Group will be hosting a Spooky embroidery workshop. Explore themes around aura's and spirits whilsts threading some needles and channeling the art of sewing.

We are very excited to announce the Sensory Spacemaking run by the enigmatic Dionne in the Cinema Room. This will be an, explorative, restorative practice entwining art, embodiment and care through tools and techniques to encourage sensory spacemaking, offering softness in a hard world. (This part of the event has limited capacity so will be on a first come first served basis).

We will also be hosting a Zine Making workshop hosted by UAL amaZINES, where you can learn the basics of how how to make Zine and explore themes around autumn, halloween and spookiness.

So come down to this wholesome event and hear more about your Post-Grad Community platform, how to access opportunities to share your work, find opportunities, and connect with UAL’s wider creative network.

Event meeting point

Common room area within Archwood House is based on the first floor of the building past the reception, leading to a walkway outside and through another set of double doors where the common room is to the left.

Students who are not living in the halls will need to sign in at reception and show a valid student ID card.

Accessibility: There is step free access from the road to the common room with a ramp to gain access to the front entrance if required. All reception and common areas are on the ground floor. Gender neutral and accessibility toilets are on the ground floor next to the common area where the event is taking place.

Post-Grad Community

Established in 2013, Post-Grad Community is an inclusive platform for all UAL postgraduate students to share work, find opportunities and connect with other creatives within the UAL and beyond. Find out more.

This event is for UAL students only, a UAL ID card will be needed to enter the site and attend.
