Attention LGBTQIA+ artists hoping to have their work displayed this month - get excited because Deptford Lounge are hosting a collective exhibition celebrating LGBTQIA+ History month.
Although LGBTQIA+ history should be remembered, marked and celebrated all year round, LGBTQIA+ History Month provides an opportunity to learn, educate, raise awareness and give visibility to LGBTQIA+ communities past and present.
With this collective exhibition, they aim to highlight local Queer artists and hopefully form connections between artists and creatives highlighting the rich LGBTQIA+ culture and Queer artists working and living in and around Lewisham and all are welcome to apply.
The deadline for applications is Friday 24th January at 9am.

Deptford Lounge is an award-winning, purpose built community hub just off Deptford’s bustling high street. Work will be displayed in the windows at Deptford Lounge, along Giffin street. This means the work can be on display for 24hr day from 3rd to 7th Februrary. 🖼️
The library is open 9am-7pm Mon-Fri and 9am-5pm Sat. While the library is closed, they will light work using uplighters that can be set to many desired colours. We also have TV’s and Speakers available to display audio-visual work.
