We are so proud to introduce you to the new student halls committee members at Furzedown/Cedars Halls for 2024/2025, Zara, Katie and Rhiannon! 🏡

If you see your friendly and welcoming committee members around your hall, make sure you say hi and introduce yourself to the them. 👋 

So you can get to know them better, we asked them to share with us a fun fact about themselves. Take a read below 👀

Furzedown/Cedars Hall Committee Members 🫶🏽

Zara Newbound (she/her) - Community Lead

"I'm trained professionally in patisserie and worked as a chef for a few years! so love cooking and baking :)"

As a Community Lead, she will be responsible for the development of student related wellbeing activity across their halls. They will support in the upkeep and development of the Here4U programme within Halls Life 🏘️

Katie O'Sullivan (she/her) - Communications Lead

"I have two guinea pigs called Pixie and Dixie."

As a Communications Lead, she will be responsible for creating and delivering promotional and marketing campaigns around the halls for the weekly events that take place for the students. 🗣️🤳

Rhiannon O'sullivan (she/her) - Event Lead

"I once rescued an iguana and nursed back to life."

As an Event Lead, she will be responsible for creating and delivering weekly events for the students living in their halls 🎪📝
