Get to know the committee members living in your hall!

We are so proud to introduce you to the new student halls committee members at The Costume Store for 2024/2025, Mili, Saleema, Emma, and Himani! 🏡

If you see your friendly and welcoming committee members around your hall, make sure you say hi and introduce yourself to them. 👋 

So you can get to know them better, we asked them to share with us a fun fact about themselves. Take a read below 👀

The Costume Store Committee Members 🫶

Mili Beagley (they/she) - Communications Lead

"I have 42 tattoos and 22 piercings a bunch of which I did myself when I was 15/16 (used to be 30 🥲)."

As a Communications Lead, Mili will be responsible for creating and delivering promotional and marketing campaigns around the halls for the weekly events that take place for the students. 🗣️🤳

Saleema Hussain (she/her) - Community Lead

"My open-minded nature always leads me to explore new places, try different cuisines, and discover fresh music for my playlists. I also have a great love for literature and film. Oh, and I’m a major cat person."

As a Community Lead, Saleema will be responsible for the development of student related wellbeing activity across their halls. They will support in the upkeep and development of the Here4U programme within Halls Life. 🏘️

Emma Wai Yu Lee (she/her) - Event Lead

"Mentally a Pilates girl, I usually lay out my yoga mat on the floor, but then sleep on it to pretend I’m doing a workout."

As an Event Lead, she will be responsible for creating and delivering weekly events for the students living in their halls. 🎪📝

Himani Bhala (she/her) - Committee Support

"Some fun facts about me are that I am a huge swiftie, love meeting new people, travelling and I am a huge foodie and love trying new cuisines and cafes/restaurants. I like to be planned but I have my moments when I do spontaneous things. I crack really bad dad jokes but I believe I am pretty good at making people laugh!"

As a Committee Support, Himani will support across a range of functions and assist the other Committee Members. 📝👏
