Get to know the committee members living in your hall!

We are so proud to introduce you to the new student halls committee members at Highline Building for 2024/2025, Lee, Diksha, and Marium! 🏡

If you see your friendly and welcoming committee members around your hall, make sure you say hi and introduce yourself to them. 👋 

So you can get to know them better, we asked them to share with us a fun fact about themselves. Take a read below 👀

Highline Building Committee Members 🫶🏽

Lee Howe-Li-Rocchi (they/them) - Community Lead

"My fun fact is I am a complete nerd for theme parks and my favourite ride ever is ‘De Vliegende Hollander’ at Efteling!"

As a Community Lead, they will be responsible for the development of student related wellbeing activity across their halls. They will support in the upkeep and development of the Here4U programme within Halls Life. 🏘️

Diksha Ashok (she/her) - Event Lead

"Fun fact about me is that I can speak 6 languages and am a newly converted matcha stan!"

As an Event Lead, she will be responsible for creating and delivering weekly events for the students living in their halls. 🎪📝

Marium Jamal (she/her) - Communications Lead

"A seasoned violinist, and all inspiration credits are to Jem Carstairs. She looks forward to spending her time in London tracing the shadowhunter roots, hoping she might discover her own alternate shadowhunter origins somewhere on the Blackfriars Bridge."

As a Communications Lead, they will be responsible for creating and delivering promotional and marketing campaigns around the halls for the weekly events that take place for the students. 🗣️🤳
