Every year on 22 April, Earth Day brings people together to celebrate and support the environmental movement and the ongoing effort to protect our planet's natural resources for future generations.

Earth Week runs from 20–26 April, giving us a chance to explore what we can all do to help tackle the climate crisis. Whether you're already passionate about sustainability or just getting started, it's a chance to get involved, learn something new and take action.

Earth Day Switch Off Showcase

Step into an environment free from digital distractions. Slow down, switch off, and reconnect. Expect soft, twinkling lights, a warm community feel, and the simple joy of shared experience without screens. 🙌🕯️

🌱 UAL Catering Earth Week events

FREE samples Extract Coffee and the Soil Association

 📅 Date: 22 April

📍Location: London College of Fashion - Level 10 Canteen

• Extract Coffee will be offering FREE samples and running a competition to win a voucher to use in our cafés. They will also be sharing insights into their sustainable and ethical approach to coffee.
• Soil Association will focus on seasonal, fresh fruit and vegetables, sharing information on what UAL Catering is doing to be more sustainable - including why we avoid certain produce such as avocados and strawberries. 

KeepCup, Flawsome! Drinks and Tony’s Chocolonely

 📅 Date: 23 April

📍Location: London College of Communication - Typo cafe

• Flawsome! Drinks will be on hand with free samples and their saved fruit calculator - showing the real impact of reducing food waste - plus a buy one, get one free offer on the day.
• Tony’s Chocolonely will be offering FREE samples and talk about their mission to create 100% slave-free chocolate.
• KeepCup will highlight the benefits of using reusable cups.

• Design a KeepCup and win big! Enter our competition for a chance to win a £100 KeepCup voucher - and if your design is selected, it will be sold across the colleges.
