Here 4 U: Run Club for World Mental Health Day 🏃🧠

Join us on 10th October a special Here 4 U: Run Club for World Mental Health Day. Whether you're an experienced runner or trying it for the first time, everyone is welcome. 🏃

We'll meet in the Sketch House Rec Room at 11:00am for an electrolyte drink, introductions, and to collect running vests before heading out together.

At 11:30am, we'll walk to Finsbury Park to warm up, before completing a friendly 5K run (two laps of the park).

After the run, we'll walk back to Sketch House rec room, where we will be offering Matchas 🍵 and an optional ✨ Gong Bath ✨, where you can expect:
- A gentle introduction to sound meditation
- Deep relaxation in a calm and welcoming environment
- Time to switch off from daily pressures and focus on your wellbeing
- An opportunity to support your mental health through mindfulness and self-care 💆

We're excited to be ✨giving away UAL art shop vouchers✨ to the first 5 people through the door at the event, so make sure to get down early 🤩

Don't let the word 'run' put you off! If you don't run, that's absolutely fine. We'll have staff and students walking the route too, so you can join us for a walk, enjoy the company, and still be part of the event. Everyone is welcome, regardless of fitness level 🙌

The aim for this event is to offer an organic, relaxed opportunity to meet other like minded people, to keep fit, explore local parks and to create our own running community within UAL halls. And this one in particular offers an opportunity to practise post run mindfulness and relaxation 🤗🌳

Please note - you must be a resident of UAL Halls to sign up/attend this event - Please sign in and out at reception if you are not a resident in the hall of the meeting location, upon arrival.
