Bender Defenders is a trans martial arts community empowerment movement. 💪
They confront rising hate crime by teaching martial arts to queer and trans people and running self defence classes for the community.
In this 2 hour long *FREE* workshop in the Rec Room at Sketch House, you will learn about the legal meaning of self-defence, the importance and power of d-escalation, and some physical self defence techniques you can use, from experienced and knowledgeable queers!
