Empowering trans, non-binary and gender-diverse students

UAL is committed to upholding the values of social justice and environmental stewardship through its teaching and research, as well as in the way we live, work and conduct our operations.

This is why it's important to create partnerships with other organisations who have similar core values.

UAL has built and maintained a strong, ongoing relationship with Trans in the Citywhich helps them to continue empowering trans and non-binary professionals in the workplace. 🫶🏽

As part of this ongoing partnership, UAL will support the ongoing student ambassador scheme, Student Connect

Through Student Connect, they will empower you to build your future in an environment that celebrates who you are. ✨

The program is open to trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse students aged 18 or over who are currently enrolled in any form of further education, including university, college, internships, and apprenticeships.

Through the scheme, students will gain access to:

  • Insight Days: Connect with businesses to explore career paths
  • Events: Network and grow with peers and industry leaders
  • Community: Join our LinkedIn and Discord groups to share and connect
  • Jobs: Get direct access to opportunities from our business partners
