International Women's Day 2024
Happy International Women’s Day (IWD) from everyone at Halls Life!
International Women’s Day marks the celebration and recognition of women’s accomplishments all around the world. Whether it’s in the social, economic, cultural, and political spheres, it’s important to understand the difficulties women still face and challenges that have been overcome.
This year’s theme for International Women's Day 2024 is Inspire Inclusion. When we 'inspire others to understand and value women's inclusion, we forge a better world'.

And finally, here are three ways to support women today and every day!
◾️ Speak up
Speak up if someone around you makes sexist or inappropriate comments in conversation. Educate them on what the right thing to say is or how their actions may be perceived as offensive. Halls Life are always here to support you, reach out to see how we can help you.
◾️ Charity support donations
There are a number of UK charities that support women, such as women’s refuge for those escaping domestic abuse. Have a look to see how you can contribute your time, skills or money to keep these important charities reach those in need.
◾️ Educate yourself about women’s rights
IWD is a great opportunity to educate yourself on women’s rights and gender equality. Read articles, books or watch documentaries on relevant topics to help better understand the challenges women face and how you can support them in their fight for equality.
