By UALHalls 16 Jun 2022

Check out the parking requirements for your hall bellow:

Archwood House – Please note there is no parking on site at Archwood House. We recommend residents use Bonar Street to drop off their belongings and then find alternative parking nearby. The majority of roads in the area are free to park on Saturdays and Sundays. Please be aware Residents cannot park outside Archwood House on Peckham Hill Street due to the zebra crossing and the bus stop.

Brooke Hall There is car parking in Brooke Hall however you will only be able to bring your car into the hall to drop off only. If you wish to stay you will need to find street parking nearby.

Cordwainers Court - If you are arriving during peak hours then please expect a wait for spaces to become available. Limited parking is available at the hall but for unloading only. Once you have got your luggage out of the car we ask that you move your car immediately. Please be aware that traffic wardens do patrol the area. If you are unloading you can park on the double yellow lines but please ensure that you stay with your car at all times. Do not park the car on the pavement at any time. Alternative metered parking is available in the local area. Details will be available upon your arrival.

Emily Bowes Court - Situated in the grounds of Hale Village, parking near Emily Bowes Court is limited. During the check in we will have drop off stations. Your car can then be parked via pay and display in the spaces situated by the entrance of Hale Village. Alternatively, you can park at the Tottenham hale retail park free of charge for 3 hours. The hall is very close to Tottenham Hale train and tube station if this method of travel is more suitable.

Furzedown Student Village and Cedars Hall - Please note the car-park inside Furzedown Student Village is for unloading/ loading only. You can park without restrictions on the road outside while waiting for available loading/ unloading space.  Please ask at reception on the day if you have any queries.

Gardens House – Students arriving at Gardens House should look out for the Sainsbury’s Local supermarket, the entrance is to the left of the Sainsbury's. Please drive carefully, at a speed of no more than 5mph to ensure the safety of others who may be arriving on foot. You will be able to park outside the building for enough time for students to off-load their belongings. If you wish to stay you will need to find street parking nearby.

Glassyard Building - Please see this simple map for car parking nearby (please note roads in green have available parking). Please also note Oak Square is the drop off zone for unpacking, parking will be allowed for 15 minutes for unloading and cars will then need to relocate. This will be carefully monitored by hall staff.

Highline Building - Please note there is strictly no parking on site all year round. You will be able to 'drop off' outside the entrance for ten minutes at a time. See map for full details here for parking nearby . Please check the signage at the car park for full details before leaving your car.

Portland House - Students staying in the South Site will have car access via the front gate, where they will be greeted by a member of staff who will confirm their name and direct them to the front of the building. Here they will have the chance to unload their belongings from their vehicle. Students staying in the main Portland building will also have car access and will also have their names taken at the gate to confirm that they are in the correct place before being granted access to unload their belongings. Once students have unloaded their cars they will be asked to find appropriate parking elsewhere to make room for the other students arriving by car.

Sketch House - Please be advised that there is limited pay and display parking available nearby. Please note if you do park in restricted areas you may be charged. We will have plenty of staff to help you unpack your car on the day with trolleys also available. Please see our map of nearby pay and display car parks and the drop off zone.

The Costume Store - Depending on your move-in date, there are several drop off, parking and stay options:

On September 3 and10, a drop off zone will be open in the car park for students to unpack their car and drop off their belongings. The Costume Store will have staff overseeing the drop-off zone and students will have a 15-minute drop off slot. After you have unpacked your car, your car will have to be moved to allow other students to use the space. You will need to find alternative permanent parking.

  • Arriving on dates outside of September 3 and 10 - Due to scheduled works at The Costume Store, we cannot guarantee that the car park will be available as a drop off zone. Where it is possible, we will permit access for unloading.
  • Local permanent parking -  Please go to the Just Park website at: JustPark - The Parking App | Find parking in seconds, go to the search box and input the code 1040 which should bring up the closest car park which is ‘Victoria Industrial Estate Car Park’. Alternatively, please use Parkopedia to find car parks, street parking and metred parking nearby.

Wigram House - Parking is extremely limited near to the hall but unloading of vehicles can be done at the front of the building. There are pay and display parking spaces on the roads around Wigram House. There will be staff present on the day to guide you with any information you will need.

Need more help in finding a parking space? Parkopedia will show you car parks, street parking and metred parking around your hall.
