Arthur Miller's play inspired by the 17th century New Englang witch trials. 🧙🏼‍♀️
*This event is intended for Summer Stay guests*
Following performances at the National Theatre, Lyndsey Turner directs an urgent retelling of Arthur Miller’s Salem witch trials play.
While The Crucible play isn’t based on a true story per se, it’s inspired by the hundreds of witch trials that took place in 17th-century New England. Communities were fearful of people behaving in unexplainable ways, so deemed them to be “witches.”
You can meet next to The Gielgud Theatre or travel with the group from Sketch House.
