SHAG Week | Dancing in heels
Add this event to your calendar
A class designed to get you out of your head and into your body and feels. 👠❤️
The dancer Li Li Hodge will run this UAL exclusive class and will start with a warm-up in trainers or socks (whichever you prefer). Then, you will move into very short sequences on heels to get used to them before beginning to learn a little choreography.
We want you to leave this class feeling empowered and ready to take on the world, outside the studio. And, for an extra confidence boost, optional performances at the end of class will be encouraged. 🤩
So, grab your FREE ticket, get your lipstick on, and come have a dance! 💋
If you feel uncomfortable in heels, they are not a requirement. You can just wear socks or trainers. 👟🧦
In terms of heels: the key is to make sure the ankle is supported, so laced ones will be good, especially with thinner heels (so you can tie them super tight). If you have never really worn/danced in heels, Li Li advises wearing thick, chunky heels.
It is completely okay to take your heels off at any point during the class. ❤️
If you are no longer able to make your slot, please return your ticket to the waiting list.
