We are Meet The Tide

By MeetTheTide 08 May 2017

What is UAL doing to contribute to a more sustainable university and planet?

Quite a lot actually!

You can read all about our efforts on the Meet The Tide website and see what we are doing to reduce our carbon emissions. This includes monitoring our utility consumption carefully and ensuring any new buildings we construct, meet the highest energy efficiency standards.

Our efforts have been acknowledged in a variety of ways, from winning awards to being officially certified for our energy management system. Only a handful of other universities have achieved this certification known as ISO 50001.

Fact: Did you know UAL reduced its carbon emission by 25% from 2011/12 to July 2016?

You can sign up to and read our blog here, follow us on Twitter or even see how sustainable your College is by checking out the Carbon Dashboard.
