Furzedown is located in the up and coming area of Tooting and is full of amusements at very affordable prices. Whether you’re a food lover, an explorer or a partier, there is something within walking distance for everyone.

  1. Mud
    If Brunch is your thing, then the award winning MUD is your place. They have a menu to die for and the pancakes are a must try. They even come with little flowers on the top, perfect for an Instagram shot!

    The hub of Tooting’s nightlife is the Tram and Social. Tucked down a little alleyway, during the day you will probably miss it, but at night it comes alive. With its vintage feel and ever-changing live bands, it has a great atmosphere where everyone feels welcome. It’s perfect for a cheap night out and the best part is you can walk home so no paying out for an Uber.

    If you’re feeling tired of the city, take a stroll to Tooting Bec common. With its acres of greenery and picturesque café it is sure to brighten your frame of mind. There is also the famous outdoor Lido. Not only is it the largest in the country, but its only £4.50 for student entry.

    Tooting has several markets but the Tooting Market is the crown and jewel. With several great places to eat; from brunch to pizza and burgers to pastries. A secret bar, a wine tasting place, a comic store and several places so quirky they don’t even have a label. You can easily spend all day here and barely spend a tenner!

    If you are a shopaholic, don’t panic, Tooting has everything you could possibly need. There are several clothes shops nearby including New Look, T K Max, Primark and more. Plus, every supermarket brand has found a place in Tooting so doing your food shop will be a breeze.
