Tate Britain holds the largest collection of British art in the world from 1500 to the present day. You’ll find masterpieces by Gainsborough, Hogarth, Millais and Whistler, as well as outstanding contemporary artists such as Francis Bacon, Lucian Freud, and Damien Hirst.

The finest display of international modern art in Britain, housed in the former Bankside Power Station transformed by architects Herzog & De Meuron.
