Meet the Team - Sarah
Hi, I'm Sarah and I'm the Residence Manager at Glassyard Building and Highline Building.
I have a degree in Hotel and Catering Management and started my working life at Bristol University.
I joined UAL over 20 years ago, so I'm one of the longest serving members of the Accommodation Services team.
You'll find me at the Glassyard Building Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in my office and in reception at Highline on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
One of the things I love most about my job is working with students because no two days are the same. I once had to rescue a My Little Pony toy off the roof of one of our halls. I also once caught students cooking sausages on the roof in the sun - I strongly recommend you don't try this yourself.
I also really enjoy working with student the Fresh Student Living staff - you'll also see them walking around the halls.
Glassyard is fantastic if you're a foodie. Brixton is only round the corner and there are lots of places to eat and drink there.
Highline has a great location as it's so central. LCC students can just roll out of bed to get to college!
My advice to all new students is to be responsible and safe. Make sure you have read your contract. Remember if you need anything please come and see us at the reception.
