Mayor’s Entrepreneur Competition 2017

By UALHalls 20 Dec 2016

Could you be Mayor Sadiq Khan's Entrepreneur 2017?

All students in London are invited to submit a smart idea to improve the capital and compete for a chance to win £20,000 and be crowned Mayor's Entrepreneur 2017.

How does it work?

Step 1: Come up with a smart idea

Students either as individuals or part of a group have between now and the deadline to come up their ideas.

Step 2: Submit your smart idea

Enter your idea on the competition entry page.

Step 3: Judges do their bit

An expert panel of judges will create and shortlist the ten best ideas to go through to the final.

Step 4: The final

In March, the lucky finalists will pitch their ideas in front of the judges and a live audience at City Hall. This is when the Mayor's Entrepreneur 2017 will be chosen.

Whether you enter as an individual or as part of a group, the benefits to taking part include:

  • Improving your skills and future employability
  • Free mentoring and workshops from business experts
  • An opportunity to pitch your ideas 'Dragon's Den' style at City Hall
  • A chance to win £20k to make your idea happen.

Find out online, how to register and submit your idea!

Remember you must submit your idea by midnight on 12 February 2017.
